SuperCorrExpo is the largest trade show in the Western hemisphere catering exclusively to the corrugated industry.
Spotlight products on display at booth 3112 will include Nordson’s new LA 825 RC non-contact electric guns, as well as its LogiComm® control and verification system. In addition, Nordson will showcase its full array of solutions for corrugated manufacturers, including melters, pumps, electric and pneumatic guns, bracketry and pattern controls.
LA 825 RC electric guns provide improved production efficiency and enhanced bonding to non-contact adhesive application. Offering consistent adhesive deposition for intermittent application – even during line speed changes – the fast-cycling guns are ideally suited for corrugated manufacturing. The reduced-cavity design provides sharp, clean cutoff to help improve product quality and reduce rejects, while the elongated nozzle and independent stroke adjustment for each gun allow for greater pattern control and flexibility. In addition, a single-piece, stainless steel housing increases the gun’s durability, helping prolong service life and reduce maintenance.
The modular LogiComm integrated pattern control and verification system provides hot melt or cold adhesive pattern control and/or verification capability as needed. The system offers flexibility for pattern control or verification – either independently or combined – as well as the ability to expand either or both capabilities. In addition, the control function allows for numerous gun control and trigger inputs, a wide selection of bead choices and multiple program memory. Verification sensors monitor a number of parameters, including adhesive patterns and volume, as well as overlapped or skewed substrates. The LogiComm system also offers production reporting capabilities.
