DULUTH, Georgia - October 1, 2007 – P.S. Finishing of New Berlin, Wisconsin installed a Horizon BQ-470 book binder in May 2007. The fully automated, four-clamp BQ-470 perfect binder is flexible enough to simply and easily accommodate short runs while still capable of efficiently handling larger jobs.
“Acquisition of the Horizon BQ-470 perfect binder complements our existing equipment as we continue our commitment to the book re-binding and short-run edition binding markets,” says Paul Slotty, owner of P.S. Finishing.
P.S. Finishing’s Horizon BQ-470 is fed by a Nordson DuraPail™ bulk adhesive melter, which is ideally-suited to process PUR adhesives for high-quality finished books. Use of PUR adhesives provides high durability and improved page pull strength.
The Horizon BQ-470 perfect binder is fully automated to simplify changeovers while producing consistent, high-quality finished books. A color LCD touch screen provides easy set-up and operation.
