New modular EM-100 and EM-900 Series electric guns from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq: NDSN) provide rugged performance, precise pattern control and consistent sealing results in a compact design.
Up to eight individual modules and blanking kits mount on the manifold of the EM-100 and the EM-900 guns to yield specific adhesive pattern spacing for mainstream packaging applications. EM-100 guns can be used for case sealing applications requiring high flow, while the EM-900 guns can be used for general to high-end packaging requiring fast cycling.
EM Series guns stand up to demanding conditions while maximizing productivity. Both the EM-100 and the EM-900 guns deliver high cycle accuracy at speeds up to 6000 cycles per minute, with a duration as low as 4 milliseconds. Low-maintenance features include a high-temperature coil, no dynamic seals, and a carbide ball and seat.
The EM-100 Series guns are available with top, left, or right feed ports, and use the same nozzle as the Nordson H-20 pneumatic gun. EM-900 Series guns are available in a choice of profiles to meet tight parent machine constraints.
