VersaBlue adhesive melters from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq – NDSN) deliver enhanced flexibility, reliability, durability and performance to high-volume, high-speed product assembly, packaging and nonwovens operations. The precision melter technology provides precise adhesive add-on weights and reduces maintenance.

VersaBlue adhesive melters offer variable-speed AC motors and multiple pump selections to meet specific manufacturing requirements. The precision spur-gear pumps deliver maximum accuracy and flexibility.

The VersaBlue melters are currently available in 12 and 25-liter tank sizes with 50 and 100-liter sizes becoming available in mid-2003. The grid and reservoir tank design reduces adhesive degradation while maximizing adhesive throughput.

VersaBlue melters utilize a VxWorks-based industrial PC. The integrated touch screen allows for a graphical display of the adhesive system simplifying programming and operation. Users have the choice of standard inputs-outputs or optional communication platforms, such as Profibus, for external control of VersaBlue melters. A 7-day clock allows automatic daily startup, standby and shutdown.

Installation and set-up are made easy with quick connect hoses and guns and I-O plugs. Single-tool, easy-access panels and doors and disposable Saturn(TM) filters provide straightforward maintenance.
