DAWSONVILLE, Georgia - February 7, 2003 -The The E-400 electric applicator and driver from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq - NDSN) provide superior accuracy and repeatability in high-speed hot melt adhesive spray and bead applications. Precise dispensing at speeds greater than 6,000 cycles per minute maximizes productivity in nonwovens disposable product manufacture.

E-400 applicators dispense a wide adhesive range with viscosities up to 10,000 centipoise. Repeatability of ±0.04 inch at 1,000 feet per minute (±1 millimeter at 300 meters per minute) provides excellent pattern control and consistency. A service life up to five times that of standard pneumatic modules reduces replacement costs.

The E-400 driver optimizes applicator performance and contains built-in diagnostics that minimize maintenance and troubleshooting. Two driver versions are available, including a standard design for most applications and a PC-programmable design for custom applications. The PC model allows users to program settings directly to the driver from a computer.
