What are Nordson's Test Demonstration Capabilities?
The Nordson 16,200-square-foot liquid test demonstration facility is capable of running four independent customer tests/evaluations simultaneously. Products are coated using material, operating speeds and other production parameters as close as possible to your operations.
Our liquid demonstration facility features a wide range of equipment and technology for comprehensive testing: an Allen-Bradley PLC for full automation, rotary atomizers, wide variety of pumps, guns, and automatic gun movers.
The facility includes both water-wash and dry filter spray booths, variable-speed conveyors with power rotators, and variable stroke-speed reciprocators and oscillators. Coating areas are equipped with a gas convection oven and variable-speed booth fans, as well as chain-on-edge, overhead and flatline conveyors. And conference rooms where discussion of test procedures and results, are adjacent to the test areas, provide internet access and offer other amenities during your visit.
The facility also includes equipment and systems to handle environmentally compatible materials that meet stringent safety and emissions standards. Here you will find manual and automatic Iso-Flo® HD voltage-block systems for safe, efficient electrostatic application of waterborne coatings, as well as test capability to coat and cure using UV-curable materials.
Whether you are coating metal, plastic, wood or other heat-sensitive substrates; from automotive components to refrigerator cases, drums or aluminum extrusions, steel and wood furniture, and a wide range of general sheet metal and plastic products, Nordson has the precision dispensing equipment to increase your productivity and improve your operating efficiency.
What Materials Do I Need to Provide?
For a successful test and demonstration of how you can optimize Nordson systems in your operations, it is critical that we have proper materials. Please use the following checklist:

- Your Nordson representative will advise you of how much coating material is required for the test. The material, whether shipped from your facility or from your coating supplier, must be accompanied by an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and a TDS (Technical Product Data Sheet).
Please identify all materials (including any material shipped from your coating supplier) with the test project number assigned.
What Follows the Test?
