nVision™ Tools for Can Manufacturers

The new Nordson nVision™ Tools is a series of interactive computer modeling tools to help manufacturers evaluate alternatives for improving their operations.

For can manufacturers, nVision Tools includes two calculators that are designed to handle a number of variables, permutations and calculations for upgrading or converting current methods to improve can coating operations. The calculators include one for can coating costs, the other compares induction and convection in terms of energy savings.

Detailed ‘what-if’ scenarios allow for various input data so users can input what they know in the most convenient format. The computer model helps evaluate many alternatives quickly and thoroughly to make decisions based on hard dollars and cents comparisons. Plus, the effect of any variable on the overall profitability can be tested and evaluated.

Computer models created with nVision Tools are available for calculations in both English and Metric units, as well as for multiple currencies.
