Nordson manufactures two types of flat spray fan pattern nozzles for use in a wide variety of container coating applications: Dome and proprietary Cross-Cut nozzles. All are high quality carbide nozzles that provide excellent abrasion resistance and superior performance.
All Nordson nozzles are available with turbulence plates and restrictors for increased atomization at lower pressures and reduced nozzle wear. Extensions, adapters and swivel heads are also available for many specialized applications.
Dome-style nozzles are the most commonly used type of airless flat spray nozzle. They are ideal for applying thin, easy-to-atomize materials. Atomization quality and pattern uniformity can be affected by variations in the geometry of the inner dome cavity and surface finish.
Cross-Cut nozzles are available in a wide variety of designs for use in most any application. These nozzles offer several advantages over dome-style nozzles, including wider fan patterns, lower flow rates, improved atomization at lower pressures, better resistance to plugging and longer life.
