As part of the Nordson® Two-Component Dispensing System, the 2k Valve is mounted on the end of a robot arm and is designed with a negative pressure shut-off to prevent dripping. Within the valve, the base and catalyst components are kept separate until the enter a static mixing tube.
With a change of a nozzle, the flexible valve can deliver material to a part in an extruded bead, a stream, or a swirl to meet a variety of application needs.
