The Nordson® Bulk Melters are designed specifically to pump highly viscous materials like warm-applied urethane adhesives. The bulk-melters use a positive-displacement, double-acting piston pump to move material.

The melter's large internal passages minimize flow resistance and increase pump efficiency.  High-pressure pneumatic rams provide quick start-up after a material change.

• Bulk melters designed to deliver hot melt adhesives, sealers and butyls from 5 or 55 gallon containers.
• Controls feature a multi-segment display, sequential startup, programmable over and under temperature alarms, temperature setback and automatic diagnostics.
• Can be configured with axial or smooth platens, multiple hose version, exhaust hood, light tower and week/day timer.
