ES 10 III coating weight controls from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq – NDSN) provide accurate hot melt adhesive dispensing in dynamic production environments. The ES 10 control automatically calculates pump speed for different application weights to support fast, correct production changeovers.

The ES 10 control interfaces directly with the parent machine to form an integrated hot melt adhesive system. A text display operator interface provides direct input of application weight and width that coordinates with pump capacity and line speed information to deliver precise adhesive dispensing.

The PLC-based control system eliminates the need for manual pump speed calculations. The automatic calculation increases production flexibility with fast, reliable product changeovers.

The control system comes standard with a selection of pre-programmed pump charts and supports manual programming for additional pumps. The ES 10 accommodates two identical pumps feeding a single gun.
