The new Meltex ® EP11 contact slot gun from Nordson Corporation (Nasdaq-NDSN) features a new slot nozzle design which delivers highly improved cutoff performance for high-speed nonwovens disposables production lines. This adhesive applicator will be on active display at IDEA '98, Booth #416.

The improved EP11 cutoff performance leads to more uniform patterns, better edge control and less waste. Its unique valve closes in the opposite direction of adhesive flow, pulling adhesive back into the gun upon shutoff.

The EP11 also features a newly designed mouthpiece with a rounded front edge. This allows good application results even when coating on low-tension webs or on webs with poor routing paths, an important benefit for continuous applications.
